Random facts

3. Write 6 random things about yourself
4. Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment
1. I have severe anxiety! I have since I was in probably seventh grade. I even had to have my nice neighbor give me a massage in 7th grade because I was so tense. I have an anxiety attack probably once every-other-day, and really should probably be on some meds for it. In fact, I had one today at work and had to have Brett calm me down. He is so great!
2. I take a bath almost every single night. My mom always does too, and so I thought it was just something women do, but apparently it's not. If I don't have a bath, I get homesick. Weird, I know. It just is one of those things.
3. Speaking of my mom, I talk to her probably three to four times a day, maybe even five if I don't get to see her that day. It can start as early as 7:30-ish, and ends around 10 sometimes. That is, after we both have our baths. But sometimes she goes to bed way early, and sometimes I go to bed way early, it just depends. I love my mom, and I'm just like her in a way. If I don't get to talk to her or see her as much as I do, I get really homesick. I guess I get homesick easily, but I always have been that way, so I don't feel weird about it.
4. I'm hypo or hyperglycemic. I guess I will find out which one this semester in one of my classes. But I get really really really shaky and psycho if I don't eat certain foods. I must have carbs, and I must have sugar. That is just all there is to it. Actually I'm sure it is a lot more complicated than that. In high school, it got really bad. But for awhile there, like right after we got married, I thought it went away, and then I just realized that it is probably because I tend to never let myself go hungry. In fact, I haven't felt hungry for a really long time. I like food, and that's just me!
5. I wrote in my journal every single day in junior high, and totally stopped when I got to high school. That is probably one of the most lame things I have ever done, but one of the very best! Junior high was weird and so was I, but I also have never been so faithful with reading scriptures and staying in-tune with the Spirit in my life. My sister-in-law Heather (Brett's sister, who practically raised brett, right Heath?) was my Y.W president during the time, and she is the one who got me to write in the journal. In fact, I wrote in my journal that if my mom ever died, I would want Heather to be my mom. Little did I know that she would be my sister someday.
6. I love to watch the news, and I love to watch the news anchors. Did you know Susan Wood and Terry Wood on ABC 4 are married? It makes sense because of the name, but I wasn't sure, and I wanted to know, so I emailed her. Yep, they are married, but her maiden name was also Wood. I don't like to listen about the economy and blah, even though I probably should. I really enjoy the weather, and the top stories. The little random stories right before the broadcast is over are good too.

Anatomy and Physiology..
I really do enjoy my anatomy class, and physiology for that matter. I think it is so fascinating to learn a little bit about the human body. The class is like learning a second language, but it is very interesting. Sometimes I leave class feeling so overwhelmed. I don't know how people do not believe in God. The human body is so incredible, I can't even imagine how Heavenly Father thought of every little detail. Taking this class is kind of a testimony builder in a way.. if that makes any sense. I know we were created by Heavenly Father, and I was one of those spirits and bodies he created! How lucky am I? If only there were no tests in my classes and I wasn't required a certain grade, I might enjoy them even more! Wish me luck on my test... and on the one next week, and the week after that! YIKES!

BLAH... and NEW CAR!!!!!
So we haven't had much to blog about lately... okay, we've had nothing to blog about. We are both working and in school at the moment. I'm taking Human anatomy and human physiology, and their labs, (which are three hours long) and it is killing me! Brett is taking one class similar to mine.. it's pretty much those two classes combined into one, without a lab! Lucky dog! We hardly have seen each other this last month, and I don't plan on seeing Brett much until December-ish. On top of the work and school load, Brett was just called as Elders Quorum Pres in our ward. We are both excited for this. I know Brett will do an awesome job!
Yesterday was an exciting day for us! We bought a new car! I especially am excited about this because I have been driving around with no air conditioning and no radio and a hanging muffler for the past month or so.. We did get the muffler fixed and we are now getting the other issues taken care of. But after that... my grandma has her car back for good! I don't think she'll be taken off anywhere anytime soon, but hey at least she will have it back. The new car is FABULOUS and so nice! I will post some pics later probably.. cause yes, I love it that much. We are debating about who is going to be driving what, but in the meantime, we are just enjoying the new ride.

Cancun, Mexico
Our trip to Cancun was amazing! Besides the airline trouble and staying in Dallas our first night and losing then finding my luggage at the end, I loved everything about it. We stayed at the GR Solaris, which is an all-inclusive resort, and ended up extending our trip one day because we didn't want to miss out on any of the fun we missed out on by staying in Dallas. The all-inclusive was definately the way to go down there! The food was awesome, especially the fresh guacamole every hour or so, the service and entertainment was so fun, and the room was very nice. The beach was of course incredible, and the water in the ocean was warmer than the water in the pool! We took the city bus downtown a couple of times, which was a little sketchy to be honest, but it was all part of the experience. Those bus-drivers are insane!! We also rented a little "mini" car and drove to Talum for the day. It was about a two-hour drive, and totally worth it! We saw the ruins and learned the significance of them and then cooled off by snorkeling at a local beach. We loved our trip, and can't wait to go back... someday!
So weird
Our car was so tiny, but at least it had air-conditioning!
Getting ready to go out and see some sweet fish!
On our way downtown..
This girl sang for us, and then went up and
down the bus asking for money! So cute!
store and was very concerned about child labor.
I asked him how old he was, and he said 16.. there is
absolutely no way this kid is 16 years old.. maybe 10!
Brett worked so hard with the airlines and the hotel to extend
our stay. It was stressful, but well worth it!
not so good, but oh well. It was very fancy!
a live band, and this guy and his girlfriend were so awesome,
I was wishing I had a video of it so bad!

Yes, I do have the best husband ever!! Brett surprised me about a month ago with a trip to Cancun for an early anniversary gift. We will both be in school over our anniversary, so we're going to celebrate a month early! I have never been out of the country, and I"m SO excited. I am even excited for the airport and plane ride chaos.. It will be so nice to get away before we start this next semester. Thanks baby! I can't wait!
